The people and places that make it local.

Sevenoaks and the surrounding villages are shaped by the people who live, work and spend their time here.

From local clubs and independent businesses to events, causes and the people doing interesting things on our doorstep, this is where we'll share some of the stories that make our part of Kent feel like home.

Local people. Local stories. Things worth knowing about.

Supporting the next generation.

There’s something special about grassroots football. Saturday mornings, muddy boots, enthusiastic parents on the sidelines and a group of young players learning far more than just what happens on the pitch.

That’s why we’re proud to sponsor the Sevenoaks FC U9s this season.

For us, supporting a local team is about being part of the community we work in. Clubs like Sevenoaks FC bring people together, give young players the chance to build confidence, make friends and enjoy being part of a team.

You’ll spot the POWELLS name on the U9s shirts this season, but the attention belongs firmly to the players.

We’ll be following them from the sidelines and look forward to seeing how their season unfolds.

Good luck, U9s. We’re right behind you.

Hello Sevenoaks.

Opening the doors at 150 High Street was always going to be a big moment for us. So it seemed only right to mark it by filling the office with people, opening a few bottles and raising a glass to POWELLS.

Our launch evening brought together friends, family, local businesses and people who have supported us along the way for an evening of wine tasting, canapés and plenty of conversation.

It was exactly how we wanted to begin - relaxed, welcoming and with the office full of people.

Thank you to everyone who came along, sent messages, popped in to say hello or wished us well. The support we've received since opening our doors has meant a great deal to the whole team.

The party may be over, but the door is very much open.

If you're passing 150 High Street, come in and say hello.
